Grade 11 and Grade 12 students carrying several sciences at once. Also students trying to work out which math a university program actually requires before they pick next year's courses.
About Lovepreet
My master's is in physics, from Panjab University, and my first degree covers both math and science. Since 2022 I have taught at The Study Academy Upper School, and I carry the whole senior STEM slate: physics, chemistry, biology, science, math, Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors and Data Management, from Grade 7 to Grade 12.
That range is useful for one specific reason. A Grade 11 student choosing next year's courses usually needs to know which math a physics or an engineering path actually requires, and I can map that out and then teach it. My lessons run on problems rather than on lecture.
I want the student talking, guessing, being wrong out loud, then finding the reason. I teach in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
Why Lovepreet teaches these subjects
My master's is in physics, and physics is the subject that made every other science make sense to me. I carry the whole senior slate because students almost never take one science on its own. When one teacher holds physics, chemistry and the math underneath them, the connections stop being homework and start being obvious.
